Headquartered in Dubai, UAE, Souq.com caters to the needs of local markets with commercial offices in Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait, and a technical and development centre in Jordan and India.

Naspers initially acquired a 30% stake in Souq in 2012 and increased it to 48% in March 2014.
