Mail.ru Group

Mail.ru Group is one of the largest internet companies in the high-growth Russian-speaking internet market, developing internet communications and entertainment services in Russia and globally. Its depository receipts are listed on the London Stock Exchange.

Mail.ru owns two of the three largest Russian social networks Odnoklassniki (OK) and Moi Mir (My World), a Russian instant messaging service called Mail.ru Agent, the world's leading email service ICQ, one of the largest portals in Russian-speaking countries, and the largest portfolio of online games. Mail.ru also owns 52% of VKontakte (VK.com), the leading Russian-language social network.

Mail.ru has about 59 million total monthly users on its Mail.ru portal and 7.9 million paying monthly users on the platform.

Naspers initially invested in the business in 2007, when it acquired a 30% stake in Mail.ru. This was later merged into Digital Sky Technologies (DST), another prominent Russian internet company, which was renamed Mail.ru Group and subsequently listed in August 2010. Naspers holds a 29% stake.
