SuperSport is known by millions of sports fans throughout Africa as the “World of Champions”. It is the continent’s leading funder and broadcaster of sport, offering local and global sporting content to pay-TV customers.

With headquarters in South Africa, the channel tailors programming for various regions and communities, making it a true pan-African company. Its African expansion was recently accelerated by the launch of a number of channels specifically for Africa’s Portuguese speakers (e.g. SuperSport Maximo 360). SuperSport also continues to invest in local sport leagues at all levels by paying broadcast licence fees, up-skilling local administrators and production crews, improving facilities, and helping federations to attract sponsors.

A number of SuperSport channels are broadcast in high-definition (HD) and SuperSport apps for iPhone and iPad offer content for downloading or streaming.
